    The Northwestern Medicine Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program is a 16-week course designed to equip students with essential skills through 80 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours of clinical experience. The program is held at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, providing students with hands-on training in an acute healthcare setting. Upon completion, participants are eligible to take the Illinois Nurse Aide Competency exam. The program is open to Northwestern Medicine employees and non-employees, with a tuition fee of $1,250, covering textbooks, clinical apparel, and certification exam fees. Classes are held weekly, with both didactic and clinical components.
