โWell,โ Danny said, โI guess we just wonโt go.โ Great, he thought, I really wanted to see her tonight. He hung up the phone, too tired to argue. His girlfriend Mindy had just told him that she did not want to go to the movies tonight like they had planned. He sighed, looked at his screen, and decided to text Mindy to apologize. โI am sorry, babe. Question 87 of 170
87. Question
A good night’s sleep is essential to doing well on your next exam. If you stay up late, you will feel fatigued and unfocused, making doing well difficult. A good breakfast is also a must when preparing for an important test. Sugary treats will have you burning out early, and skipping the meal altogether will have you thinking about food all day, not the right answers on the paper. The last thing to remember is relax! Simply do the best you can, and know that you studied well and are fully prepared for what is to come. Good luck.
According to the reading above, what is not an important thing to do in order to prepare for an exam?

When taking the exam, it is important to focus on a few particular tips.
Prior to studying for the exam, you should line up a test date so you know when you will plan on actually taking the exam.
Where Can I take the HESI A2 Exam?
When it comes to actually taking the test, there are typically two options available for you:
- Prometric Testing Center
- Postsecondary Education Institutions
Prometric is a testing company that works with HESI to administer exams. They have testing centers around the United States, and you likely will not have to travel far. You can find a test center on their website.
If you plan on applying to a particular nursing school, there’s a good chance that they administer the HESI A2 at their location. Check on their website for testing information, or reach out to their admissions department to request information.
Know what sections you should study
Reach out to your nursing school or testing administrator to find out what sections of the HESI A2 that you will be taking. Some nursing schools require all sections of the HESI to be completed, but some schools do not require certain sections, such as the physics section.
Knowing which sections are and are not on the test can save you critical time studying. There’s no need to prepare for a section of the HESI if you don’t need to actually take it. Nearly all nursing schools require students to take the core sections of the HESI A2, which are reading, grammar, math, and vocabulary.
