3. Test Information

After completing your CNA training program, the next step is passing the state exam to become certified. The exam is divided into two parts: a written exam and a skills competency test.

CNA Exam Structure:

  • Written Exam: This part of the exam consists of multiple-choice questions that cover topics such as basic nursing skills, infection control, safety protocols, and communication. You’ll take this test on a computer at an approved testing center.

  • If you have special needs, such as requiring an oral test, you can request accommodations in advance.

4. Certification Registration and Upkeep
